Motor froze due to moisture damage
The motor for DMV015 can work for the older DMV012. I cut out the tabs on the plastic ring that helps hold the motor in place. It now holds the slightly different sized motor perfectly and has more power than previously. (the replacement motor for DMV012 seems to be unavailable)
