Blade will not go up on own and motor blade just fall down.
For model number DWE7485
Hello Robert, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, we would suggest checking the hand wheel, part number PS10178360, to fix the problem. A malfunctioning hand wheel can most probably cause this issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!

The spring clip broke
Simple as removing the screw holding the broken one and replacing it with the new one. The screwing it back in.
One note is that the new spring clip seemed to be very difficult to open and allow the push stick in. But this quickly loosened up and works great now.
