This is not a repair for the faint of heart. You will have to pretty much disassemble the entire dishwasher to replace the main pump assembly. And it’s not cheap, between the pump assembly and the hose...it was over $300...
This dishwasher is Junk...been through 2 motherboards, plastic internal spray arms...and finally a pump assembly...if you own one and the pump begins to leak....shorts the pump motor out....if it gets this far...but a new dishwasher.
1) Unplugged unit 2) isolate water supply 3) slide unit out 4) disconnect water hose from dishwasher 5) carefully lay dishwasher on iaccess door. 6) unscrew and open access panel at the bottom 7) unscrew (2) screws attaching supply valve to the dishwasher 8) disconnect water supply hose from supply valve to using pliers 8) carefully remove valve, connect new valve. Install supply hose from valve to unit. Reverse instructions.
I ordered from you the address cleaner for my Kitchen Aid Dishwasher. I was hesitant about ordering it because, in my experience, these tyo e products are a waste of money and never perform to a level of expectation! But the washer is new and nice and I want to take care of it so in ordered the cleaner. I popped the little pellet in where the detergent pods go. Vli send the door pressed "normal wash" button, shut the door and forgot about it. I forgot about it until I opened the door to put in dishes, ... And BOY!! The inside of the washer was shining so bright I had to put on my sun glasses!! It would have been difficult to not notice how clean the inside of my machine was! No kidding... I was really impressed... in faction glad I got this request for feedback... because I was wondering how to let you j now what a great product this stuff is!
