After turning start knob the drum begins to turn it is slow in connecting to the run step

Hello Roger, thank you for your question. We would recommend checking the belt, pulley and tension on the belt. If those parts are fine, the issue could be with the motor itself which is PartSelect Number: PS1559768. I hope this helps.
