Freezers not defrosting properly. And ice maker is not working. So could it be defective ice Maker. Defrosting coil. Omh check. Not shorted . Thermal couple tested working.

Hello David, Thank you for contacting us. You can run a test on the ice maker to see if it is the cause, and we have included a link to our video on testing both the water inlet valve and ice maker. If the freezer is not defrosting, we would recommend checking the defrost heater, and the defrost thermostat and thermistor on the evaporator harness. Good luck with your repair.
