Push on button Time lights up Push start button , and hear it click but does not start But the timer still counts down ?
For model number DBVH520EJ2WW
Hello Dave, thank you for your question. Typically, when you hear a click but nothing happens when you try to start your dryer, it could be a problem with the thermal fuse PS267900. It cuts off power to the dryer motor if the temperature reaches an unsafe level. If you push the start button and nothing happens, the high-limit thermostat should be tested for continuity and replaced if the contacts are open. We hope this helps.
How do i repair the paint that is peeling around the back wall of the drum?
For model number DBVH520EJ2WW
Hello Brenda and thank you for writing.
The paint. This part is discontinued for your model and is no longer available. We have no known replacement information in our system. We recommend you contact the manufacturer of the part to see if they have recently released a new substitute. You might be able to pick up a metal paint spray at a local hardware store or home depot, that should do the trick. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

Dryer starts most of the time, but then stops. Doesn't dry clothes
For model number DBVH520EJ2WW
Hi Susan, thank you for asking. If your dryer starts and stops without drying clothes, you may need to check the moisture sensor, part number PS1021860, to fix the issue. It detects the amount of moisture in the laundry load and signals the control board when to stop. We hope this sorts out your problem!
It was pretty easy. After already taking apart the dryer to install a new belt I knew exactly my plan of action. I removed the two screws that hold the top panel of the dryer to the front panel. I then removed the top panel and removed the screws that hold the front to each side panel. I than pulled the front away from the cabinet and drum. I put the new slides in place and installed a new felt strip. I put it back together and that was that. Very easy.
1. Removed top cap on lid by removing the 3 - phillips screws. 2. removed front digital display panel from PC board. 3. removed bolts with nut-driver on the top of the front panel, removed bottom screws with #2 square bit. 4. removed "snap-in" plastic top bearing ( paying attention to where wiring is routed within this frame. 5. cleaned all areas of plastic and felt debris, installed new bearing, felt, and glides. 6. Re-installed all wiring and panels.
*** make sure to order all of the glides, there should be a total of 4 for the top assembly.
Removed the front Dryer panel. Left drum in place and lifted it up slightly to get access to motor drive. Slipped belt in place and put panel back on. This was a first attempt ever at fixing an appliance and it was no big deal.
