Oven works perfectly, stove top dials for the elements work sometimes but not always. Either they all work or none. The stovetop beeps like it was just plugged in a few times a day. Sometimes we try the elements and they work and other times nothing at all. The clock on the front will have power but the elements will not.

The oven racks no longer fit, they fall out. What would cause this and is this a common problem with this model. I did see there is a rack support bracket that be used, I couldn’t see how it would fit.
For model number CGES3065PFA
Hello Cheryl, thank you for contacting us. There are rack guides on the other wall of the oven where the rack fits in the oven. The rack supports, part number PS2369181, are used to pull out the oven rack outside as the oven door is opened. The rack support can only be installed on the bottom rack. There are two rack support bars to be installed. First, place the rack connector bracket on the oven rack. With the oven door open and the oven rack in place, install one end of the connector arm into the hole in the door connector bracket and the other end into the hole in the rack connector bracket. The oven rack may need to be adjusted in or out of the rack position to match the length of the connector arm. While holding the connector arm in place, twist the connector arm so the ends of the connector arm point upwards. The connector arm should now be locked into position. Repeat these steps for the other rack connector arm. We hope this helps!

Cord was not tightened enough by delivery crew.
PF alarm appeared on display. Noticed clicking when cord was moved. Had arced for some time and melted original block. New part slightly different. Only has 3 lugs, old one had six. Stack using washers provided. Take note of colors before disassembly. Use caution while working through access opening. The edges are sharp. Only tools needed are phillips screwdriver, deep socket for lug nuts. Nut driver optional. Hope this is helpful.

burned out burner
First we removed two screws under the rim of the range top to open the lid. Lifted the lid and removed the screws from the bracket that holds the elements, Be careful with the clips that hold the element in, if you break them or bend them there aren't any more! Also note which holes they were in, they are marked according to the different sizes of elements. Disconnected the wires, needed needlenose pliers to grip them...connected new element, popped it back in place, replaced bracket, closed top ...Easy peasy!!!

Cracked oven door inner glass
Repair was quite easy, as long as you have the instructions for removing the door. The screws that hold the bottom of the door to the fixed hinge are placed into the side of the hinge assembly after removal; this holds the door at a 45 degree angle for easy removal. After that, just place the door on a flat surface and dismantle the door from the inside. The inner glass is contained in a metal frame with another piece of glass; this frame comes apart easily using the clips in each side. The door assembles easily after the glass is replaced; just take your time and give yourself enough room to lay out the parts as you go. Good luck!
