I need a new bale for the Bosch Refrigerator Ice Maker. It is a plastic piece that turns off the ice maker when the ice tray is full. I need to replace just that plastic bale not the entire ice maker. Can you help me with that?

We were away for five weeks. I dumped the ice to make some new ice. The ice maker is making only a tray every two days. Could it have anything to do with the water filter?

Hello Suzette, thank you for your question. Ice production is dependent on freezer temperatures which are affected by the temperature control settings. The settings should be 5 and 5 on models with knobs, 0 and 37 for models with electronic controls and 26 cubic feet Bottom-Freezer refrigerator model settings are –2 and 38. Door openings and food load affect ice production. We hope this helps.
