How do i adjust the carburetor on my 1993 Craftsman gt6000 serial number 917255960 what are the turn sequences
For model number 917255960
Hi Nathan,
Thank you for your question. To adjust the carburetor on your lawn tractor engine, set the throttle to fast and then start the engine. Once you have done this, you will first need to turn the high speed screw clockwise until the engine slows and then you will need to turn it counterclockwise until it slows. Then locate the center point where the engine idles best. Then move the throttle from slow to fast and then move the throttle back to slow to test the adjustment. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
