What should the tire pressure in rear tires be when chains are added?
For model number 917203830
Hello Dave, thank you for reaching out. The factory settings for residential riding mower tires are generally 10 psi for the rear tires and 14 psi for the front tires. After rolling your machine into place over the chains, release about 10 PSI of air pressure from the tire. This will help with an easier installation and a snug fit. To make the process easier, do not release the air pressure until after you have rolled the equipment. Then re-inflate your tires back to factory specifications after chaining. We hope this information helps!
