Rusting around bottom of water and ice dispenser.
For model number 79551314014
Hi Charles, You might be able to clean the rust and, if necessary, repaint any damaged areas of the door. You will need to remove the front cover of the dispenser to access the rusted area. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

I need to replace cracked drain tubing that goes under the refrigerator. Is there a “coupler” I could install where it’s cracked or do I need to replace the entire piece of tubing. Please advise with part #s. Thanks.
For model number 79551314014
Hello Greg, thank you for your inquiry. We would not recommend any repair hacks. If the drain tube, part number PS3527689, is damaged, then you may need to replace it to fix the issue. Glad to be of assistance!
This site was awesome! I was able to very quickly look up my refrigerator model, find the proper part number, and order the part. The only suggestion I would make is to update the cut sheet with a more clear version, it was a little difficult to make out the part number because the scan/drawing was fuzzy, but I was still able to make it out. Got the part in the mail very quickly and it was super easy to remove the old rail and install the new one. Take out the screws from the old one, remove the old rail, line up the holes, install the new one, and put back the screws. It's so nice to have a site like this to fine parts and order them! Too cool! Thank you so much!
Took off door per normal instructions. Removed the old stopper and hinge assembly (the hard rubbery parts had worn enough against each other to cause the annoying sound when opening and closing the door). Inserted the new stopper and hinge assembly. There was no locking nut on the newer part, so just had to level the fridge door without that part of the instructions (from normal LG instructions) Overall easy for a non-handy person and the annoying sound is gone. Wife is happier now.
