Will my gas trimmer start without the air cleaner assembly?
For model number 316711202
Hello Ernie, Thank you for the question. With no Air Cleaner, dirt can get into the Carb and clog and damage the Carb. It will also effect the Air Flow and operation of the Carb. We hope this helps!

Top drive shaft on my craftsman wc2200 grass trimmer broke
Drive shaft replacement was very easy . Minimal tools were required. Just disconnect the throttle cable, mainly for easier movement of trigger handle. Then remove the guide handle and the trigger mechanism and base. Reassemble reverse order.
