The engine has a hesitation, miss or cutout when cold. Acts like it misses a rotation - shakes the lawnmower. If you try to slow down the engine speed to an idle, it will kill it. Once it warms up its still there, just not as noticeable.

Hi Robert, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description, we would recommend cleaning the fuel filter. If that does not solve the issue, then you may have a bad spark plug, part number PS9281094. The spark plug produces the spark that ignites the fuel in the engine. You may need to replace the spark plug to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
