motor starts at very high rpm and will not throttle down
For model number 247250010
Hi Kelly, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, we would recommend you check the governor, which controls the engine speed. Adjust the governor spring, part number PS9139888, and make sure that this spring is not too tight or too loose; keep it in an idle position. We hope this information helps!

1 deck belt cover fell off and the other rusted and loosening
Removed the retaining screws on both belt covers and replaced them with the new ones i purchased.

Belt guards broken
Replaced belt guards. Bended in center plates to keep the belts from slipping off. Works like a charm
