Craftsman Planer Jointer Blade This planer blade is a genuine Porter Cable part. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with planers. These double edged high speed steel blades keeps a sharp edge longer. Planer's knives are machined to make very precise cuts. Please note, this metal blade is sold individually. To replace the blades you will need a wrench. • Place planer upside down • Loosen the three nuts using the wrench • Rotate the blade guard downward • Carefully remove the blade by sliding it out of the holder • Slide the new blade sideways into the holder until it is against the end stop • Blade groove must be toward back of unit • Securely tighten the three nuts using the wrench supplied • Rotate the blade drum 180 degrees and repeat for other blade • Always replace both blades at the same time

Craftsman Planer Jointer Blade Support This is an original Makita replacement part manufactured for use with electric hand planers. This blade support is used to fasten the blade to the blade clamp. The blade support is sold as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.
