How do i replace light bulb?
For model number 79080373310
Hi Sheila,
Thank you for your question. Before you begin any repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet or turn the circuit breaker off. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver for the repair. Use the screw driver to unthread the screw securing the lamp cover. With the screw removed the cover, depending on your model, will hang from a hinge on the other end. Place the screw and the screwdriver aside until you need it later. Before installing the light bulb there is a small amount of adhesive on the bulb to prevent it from loosening during shipping. Unscrew the old bulb or bulbs depending on how many you have to replace from the sockets and install the new bulbs. Close the cover and secure the cover with the screw. Restore power to the microwave and test the bulbs. The light bulbs should now work for you. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

How do I remove and replace the housing that the two light bulbs screw into under the microwave (over the oven)? The sockets seem to be defective. I have the two sockets; however, it isn't clear how to install them.
For model number EI30BM60MSA
Hi Grover, thank you for the question. Follow these steps to replace the light socket:
1: Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the oven's bottom panel.
2: With the panel partially lowered, reach in and, using a tissue to protect the bulb, unthread the bulb from the socket.
3. Now unthread the socket mounting screw.
4: Pull the old socket free and disconnect the wires.
5: Install the new cabinet light socket by first connecting the wires to the terminals.
6: Align the new socket and secure it with the mounting screw.
7: Thread the light bulb into the new socket.
8: Reposition the bottom panel and rethread the screws to secure it.
We hope this solves your problem!
