There is a tube inside the dishwasher door. Part K0140. What does this part do, and where does it terminate? Inside the tub?

Thank you for your question. The tube in the dishwasher would be the inlet hose, part number PS3527265. Based on the diagram it shows it runs near the vent, across the door and down the corner of the door. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Part# 5214dd3001a - hose inlet . What does this part do? Where is it located?

Hi Brtan, looks like it goes beside the float assembly part PS3523437 as part of the
Dishwasher Water Inlet Guide Assembly PS3524749. This is a hose that water/food particles flows through the dishwasher. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
