Loud noise from inside microwave
I initally thought the problem was the turn table motor but after installing that motor & not being successful I realized the problem was the stirrer motor.Removing & insalling that motor was a bit more challenging but worth the effort as I saved either the cost of a repair technician or the puchase of a new one.The microwave is back in service & running fine.

The symptoms of my unit is the buzzing sound, everything else is working fine. I hate to order the wrong part but it tells me i need the stirrer motor?
For model number JVM1750DM1WW
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your question. It does look like the first suggested part is the stirrer motor. That means that most customers who have a noisy issue, they have had to replace that part. There are a few other parts that you could maybe check? Like your turn table motor and the fan inside of your appliance. You might have to take a look and see if you can test the parts to make sure you are ordering the part that is causing your issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My microwave makes a loud noise and there is an arc in the back and make a light up. What is the part that I need?
For model number JVM3670BF07
Hi Judy, Thank you for the question. I suggest taking a look inside the appliance to see of the Stirrer Cover, Part Number: PS227845 is not damaged to has come loose. This part covers the Stirrer Motor and if the motor is not covered it can cause the arc and noise and sparks. Hope this helps!

Is the stirrer motor part compatible with model jvm1871sk04 (GE profile spacemaker)? My microwave turntable turns, but there is no heat and the motor noise i hear just sounds wrong! Lights work on the panel, shows time, etc. Just no heat and motor noise sounds wrong are the issues.
For model number JVM1871SK04
Hello Sharyn, thank you for contacting us. If the microwave is not getting heat, the 2 most common parts would be the diode and the line fuse. If either of these fail you will not get heat. Before you start this repair, ensure that the microwave is unplugged, and the capacitor is discharged. A capacitor stores large amounts of electricity even after your microwave is unplugged. Hope this helps!
Hi,
Recently the plastic microwave turntable coupler broke and I purchased the proper model replacement part. Now the microwave turntable is not spinning and properly heating up food. I tried to also find the replacement part for the motor, but I could not find the correct matching model.
This is the serial of the part SM16F BY36P1AW3 08Y03
Thanks

Hello Maria, thank you for your question. We have researched the model you have provided, and we would suggest the Turntable Motor, part number PS1481109. If you need help placing an order, our customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
The microwave isn't putting out any heat. And Its very noisy .Loud humming sound
For model number JVM1630WB004
Hello Pete thank you for your question. A defective capacitor PS239368 may be why your microwave is not heating but you are hearing a buzzing or humming noise. The capacitor will have to be tested to determine if this is the cause of your problem. A defective capacitor will have to be replaced before your microwave will work again.
Do i need to release the charge from my capacitor to replace the stirrer motor on my GE spacemaker xl 1800 microwave or just unplug for 2days?
Hello Bruce, Thank you for the question. When ever doing any electrical repair on a Microwave, we suggest releasing the charge for safety precaution. Good luck with the repair!
