My GE microwave turntable and the fan run when the door is open
For model number PEB7226SF1FF
Hello Frank, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: monitor switch, and the primary and secondary door switch. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. Hope this helps!

Microwave quit while working. Completely - no power - no lights/error msg. Circuit breaker did not blow - major/minor repair or replace?
For model number PEB7226DF1WW
Hi Will, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the High Voltage Capacitor,PartSelect Number PS953885. Before testing make sure the capacitor is discharged to avoid electrical shock. Do this by touching the blade of an insulated-handled screw driver to one terminal, then slide it toward the other terminal until it makes contact and hold it there for a few seconds. (This can result in a startling "pop"). Repeat the procedure to create a short between each capacitor terminal and chassis ground. Hope this helps!

My GE microwave has power, but will not cook and turn table does not work either. After selecting any amount of time to cook, the timer functions, but nothing else happens.
For model number JE2160SF04
Hi Pat,
Thank you for your question. I would suggest taking a look at your diode. You have to be careful when doing any repairs on your microwave. Make sure to safely discharge your capacitor before doing any repairs because it can electrocute you if not properly discharged. You may also have to take a look at the motor for your turn table as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Our microwave power would flicker occasionally and we would constantly have to reset the clock. If we would tap the side of the unit, this would also cause the power to flicker. I removed and reattached the grounding and this seemed to fix the issue for a day. Now the unit won’t turn on. Any suggestions?
For model number PEB7226SF1SS

I came home from work and the microwave didn’t have any power. None of the breakers were tripped. I took it t a repair shop and they said the ceramic fuse needed to be replaced. Two days later the same thing happened. I replaced the fuse again and it went out again last night when i was shutting the door. What should i check?
For model number JE2160SF001
Hi Jason,
Thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that you may want to check. I would suggest taking a look at your diode and your magnetron thermostat. Sometimes if either of those parts are not working correctly, they will trip the fuse. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
