Our dishwasher will start if you hold the door shut. once you let go the door moves a bit and it quits running. Have had to prop something up to it to hold it closed so it will finish the cycle. Is this the door lock assembly that I need?

Thank you for your question. If your door is not staying shut, the part that fixes the issue most of the time is the door lock. There are some other parts that you should also check to see which one may be causing the issue. the door does not latch properly, causing the dishwasher to shut off. I f I push on the right side of door it starts, but keeps stopping. The door was damaged by someone falling on to it. Person was not hurt but the inside frame was bent and is slightly bent and we cant seem to put back on correctly. I believe it needs a new door, but I cannot find a complete door.
