Motor humming but won't rotate

I need to replace the motor and belt on the dryer. Does the motor come with a capacitor or would you know the part number for the capacitor?

Hi Dave, thank you for reaching out. The motor for your model is part number PS12584805, and the belt for the dryer is part number PS3408299. We have found that the motor does not come with the capacitor. The capacitor comes as a part of the shield, part number PS2330830. Glad to be of assistance!

I can feel heat but the motor does not run. Could this be as simple as a hidden fuse that needs to be replaced?

Dryer was squeaking loudly when running. Replace the belt, but it is still squeaking.

Hello Gene, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Lower Front Felt Seal, Front Upper Felt Seal and the Drum Support Bearing for wear or damage. The noise can also be caused by a worm Ball Hitch that rides on the Drum Bearing Support. We hope this helps!
I have a laundry center that was not working at all after a power outage, after replacing almost every part/fuse on the dryer I have got it running again but it still will not heat even though there is current getting to the heating element (which I also replaced). the last thing to replace would be the motor and if I'm understanding things right, there is a switch on the motor that needs to open in order to let the dryer heat? and if that switch isn't working then I need to replace the whole motor? any help would be appreciated.
