Washer has power but power button does not respond. Washer was off with the lid locked and did not complete wash cycle.

Hi David, thank you for your question. You may want to take a look at your wiring and make sure that there is no damage to any of it. Otherwise the issue may actually be in your electronic control board. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I have replaced the lid lock a few times. My washer after a few months of replacing starts acting up again. It will stop mid cycle and show code f5 or f5e3 which all point to the lid lock but the lid will still be locked and the washer will just keep flashing f5 and beeping. Should I just replace the circuit board? I don't see how every 2 or 3 months the lid lock would be going bad.

Hi Amanda, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, that error does mean that your door latch has failed. You already replaced the lid latch so you know that is not the problem. That means the only thing left is the main control board so the main board will need to be replaced with part number PS11769801.
