GFG464LVS2 Whirlpool Range - Instructions

Loosened two screws and removed tray, very simple. Replaced new tray and adjusted screws to hold tray. Easiest part was finding new tray part number and ordering replacement using online parts diagram.

We cheated; a local appliance repair company was called & the tech guy repaired it in 10 - 20 minutes. Couldn't be happier.

Removed face plate (4 screws). Removed 2 screws holding manifold in place. Detached wires from the switch. No need to mark them - they don't have to go back on any particular terminal. Reattach wires and reassemble manifold and face plate. Easy fix!

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

Simple-pulled range away from wall, unplug from socket. Removed back panel unscrewed thermoses and replace. Put back panel back on plug in, tested temperature setting before sliding range back on place

Simply remove two screws take old one off and line up and put new one on and replace the two screws. Couldn't have been easier.

Watched a video first. The repair was easy.

Very easy repair, simply remove old ignighter and install new one. Take pictures if you need help remembering where everything goes.

First, view videos to know what is an active door range problem.
Second, when you know the problem, see videos on you tube and be sure you will replace the right part

Following details from the installation video, after removing the main gas line and the two output lines I removed the four screws that removed the valve but found it was easier to remove and install the new one if I first removed the oven burner(it made for lining up the valve nozzle to the burner easier) from the inside, 3 wires attach ... Read more on the side towards the stove taking one wire from the old valve and putting it on the new valve in the same place. Everything went back together just fine, I did have some problem with tightening one of the two gas lines for the output and found I just had to keep tightening it a little until there were no bubbles appearing when I applied soapy water to the connections, other than that it was very straight forward.

Took out old one but electric hook up fell in the hole had to fish it out also dropped a screw in the hole could’ve find it used a different one

Removed the oven door listened to a video/You tube and the rest was easy.When you remove the door panels make sure all the parts are assembled correctly.

So glad I found the parts I needed! I followed the GREAT video instructions on this site and when I opened the oven door up discovered there had only been ONE spring inside this whole time! I replaced both springs & hinges easily, cleaned up the glass while I had the door off, and everything went right back into place!

Loosen top two rear screws from the top pan. Remove top pan
Remove 2 front screws from bottom pan. Remove bottom pan. Reverse order.
Replace both pans.
