Is this part supposed to be attached to the back wall of the inside of the dishwasher?

I appreciate your answer that this part is supposed to be attached to the back wall of the dishwasher. Can you tell me how? Mine has detached and I don't know how to reattach it. Thank you so much!

Hello Bettina, Thank you for your inquiry. This part should have one clip at the top and one on the back wall in the middle that holds it in place. These clips will need to be pressed away from the tabs on the tube to be able to pull it away and then press it back in. The tube also inserts into the sump at the bottom. Good luck with your repair.
