How do these springs attach to the WATER panel..
MHY62603706
Hello Michael, Thank you for your inquiry.
Start by unplugging the refrigerator, then use a putty knife to remove
the whole front dispenser assembly. Remove the drip tray, and starting from the bottom, carefully work your way around the edges of the dispenser loosening the clips with the putty knife. Pull the dispenser assembly out, turn it over, and making note of where the wire connections are, disconnect the white connectors. Open the ice door slightly, then pull out the spring from the channel at the bottom to release it and slide it off the plastic hinge, then carefully release the top of the spring. To put the new spring on, bend the shorter portion slightly and side it onto the plastic hinge, then slide the upper portion into the groove. Next slide the lower portion into the channel on the ice door, you may need to bend it slightly. Now you can reconnect the wire connections of the dispenser assembly and position it into place on the door, then snap the dispenser assembly into place. Now you can plug the refrigerator back in. We hope this helps and if you need a part in the future and need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
