Lid actuator had broken off so the washer was unable to agitate.
Pretty simple, really, I removed the broken actuator with a pair of pliers and replaced it with the new one, no fasteners required. A perfect fit, too.

I believe the lid switch may be out again. But i just replaced it about 5 months ago. Having the same symtoms, the tub fills but won't spin. When we moved the lid switch it started working again. Is it possible that were thinking its the lid switch again and maybe its the lid actuator?

Hi Monica,
Thank you for your question. If you have had to move the lid switch to get the washer to work again, the issue is likely with the actuator or the switch and you will need to check and make sure they positioned so that the actuator can activate the switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
