Hello Ron, thank you for your question. The first part we would recommend testing is the door switch. If that is good, then we would recommend testing the High Limit Thermostat - L200-70F PartSelect Number: PS2367796, Thermal Fuse PartSelect Number: PS7783961, and Thermal Fuse PartSelect Number: PS4704883. Please enter the part number into the site for current price and availability. Good luck with your repair!

My dryer isn't heating at all. I ran it on all different time settings and still no heat. Ran a diagnostic test and received e64 and before that the time would show chasing lights after 5-10 minutes running. I have replaced the igniter and still no heat. I'm wondering if gas is even getting through. Also, I open the front and ran the dryer, I saw nothing light up and didn't smell any gas. I checked both leads and legs with a ac/dc manual tester ( not really sure I knew what I was doing ) but as I checked all other heating element parts, the thermal limiter was the only part I didn't receive a signal on. I'm hoping that's the problem. please help...

Hello Jennifer, Thank you for the question. The High Limit Thermostat should read closed. If the instrument shows zero ohms of resistance, the electrical path between the two terminals is open and the thermostat is working properly.
