Touch Screen Overlay
I was actually replacing an EOC and it did not state anywhere that I might need this. In the end I did, the new board is not compatible with the old overlay and I had no idea so intended to re-use the old one. I had to wait for the new one and it worked fine. The EOC had actually been damaged by a power surge and it was obvious it was bad. I was actually hoping that this would resolve a temperature drift issue but it did not.

Can't set the clock, show's a code SD
For model number LGEF3045KFE
PartSelect logo
Hi Patricia, thank you for your question. That code actually stands for Store Demo. What you have to do is unplug the appliance for about 45 seconds. Then when you plug it back in press and hold the Oven Cook Time button until the SD disappears. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I ant see if the touch panel has the ribbon wire in the picture. My current panel seems to have a issue with the pizza button and that is giving me the F11 code all the other buttons beep when I press them.
For model number CGEF3040PFA
PartSelect logo
Hello Jim, thank you for your question! F11 error is a shorted key error. It means when a key on the keypad has been detected as pressed in for a long time, the F11 error is reported and all oven commands are terminated. First, simply press the cancel key to clear the code. The error may have been caused by just holding down a key too long by mistake. Try to reset the electronics by killing power to it at the breaker/fuse panel on your home for one full minute, then restore power. If the error persists, you will need to replace the overlay, part number PS2364031, and electronic control board, part number PS9494055. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

My digital screen for my oven won't work at all. It won't cut on . It won't light up. There are no signs of any burns or wires coming loose. Nothing the control board looks great. I have unplugged the range, turned the breaker off. Turned back on after waiting 20 mins or longer . Plugged range back in and still nothing on the display. What should I do now. Do I need to buy both the control board and the overlay. Any advice would be great. Thank you

Hello Amanda, thank you for your question. We suggest replacing the Overlay PS2364031 first. If that does not correct the issue, you may need to replace the Electric Control Board.PS9494055. You can test each one with a multimeter. We have a video on how to use the multimeter. We hope this helps.

Oven has a mind of its own. Temperature keeps climbing way above what i've set it for and burns everything. Yesterday it was up to 550 (when i set it for 350) and then it started beeping with a f10 error code. Nothing cleared the code but unplugging the unit. What could be going on here?
For model number LGEF3045KFB
PartSelect logo
Hello Dawn, thank you for your question. F10 indicates that the control detects a runaway temperature in the oven. If the oven is overheating, this can be caused by a stuck relay or contact on the oven electronic control board. If this fault code appears when the oven is at room temperature, then the failure points to a failed oven temperature sensor probe circuit or a bad electronic oven control board. If you are able to unplug the range and access the oven temperature sensor, you can check the resistance of this component with a volt/ohm meter. At room temperature, most Frigidaire oven temperature sensor probes will measure about 1100 ohms at room temperature. If your probe measures 2500 ohms or higher, then a defective temperature sensor is causing this problem. If the sensor is okay, then I recommend reconnecting the sensor and checking the resistance through the wiring harness connection directly at the electronic oven control board (with the range still unplugged). The sensor is oven connected through violet wires on Frigidaire ranges. If the resistance is normal through the wires that plug into the control board, then it is likely that you will need to replace the control board. I hope this helps

My oven will not heat up , i changed out the coil did not work. So do i need 20a or 20
For model number lgef3045kfk
PartSelect logo
Hello Curtis, Thank you for the question. I woudl first suggest testing the oven sensor probe. PartSelect Number: PS11731755. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the sensor is good you will need to replace the Electronic Oven Control Board, PartSelect Number: PS9494055. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
