Before removing screws, I reached in and felt for where the upper end of the spring attached to the hinge. There are three holes in the end of the hinge arm, so I wanted to be sure of which hole to use. (The holes are very close together, so if the spring falls out before you determine which hole it was in, it probably won't matter so long as you are sure to use the same hole on both new hinges.) I then removed three Phillips screws per hinge. Once the hinge was loose, I could wiggle it around and release enough of the spring tension to slip the top end of the spring out of the hole on the hinge arm. Then I pulled out the old hinge and inserted the new one and replaced the three screws. Without the tension, the lower end of the spring fell out of the little hole in the oven bottom where it normally attaches. Our gas oven has a broiler rather than a storage drawer, so it was a little difficult to get the lower tip of the spring back into that hole. It actually ended up being easier to get the lower tip of the spring back into that hole first, before trying to reattach it to the hinge arm. Once I got the lower end into that hole, I pulled up on the spring and maintained upward pressure on the spring while I fiddled around to get the upper end into the hinge arm hole. Took about 20 minutes, door works perfectly now. Lots of sharp edges inside the oven, so had to be careful.
Pull oven door open about a couple of inches. Grab the door by the sides and pull up to remove from the hinges. Set it aside. Remove the storage drawer under the oven. This gives you access to the tension spring attached to the hinge. Detach it by hand. Using a phillips head, unscrew and remove the damaged hinge. Replace the new hinge. Reattach the spring. Replace the storage drawer. Replace the oven door. Done.

oven door jammed, could not open it
Removed old hinges and installed new hinges. Hardest part was determining that worn hinges were the cause of problem, then ordering replacements. GE website hinge on exploded view did not look like hinges I removed. Thanks to Google I got on to PartSelect.com website where excellent pictures of hinges and one-inch grid confirmed they sold exactly what I wanted for my 13-year old range, the model number of which was not even on the GE website.
The oven door would not open or close all the way. The plastic hinge roller guides broke on both sides.
Remove oven door from hinges, by pulling it straight up and off, (like you would do for closer access to clean inside). Remove the storage drawer. Lift up and away off the track, (like a file cabinet drawer). With the drawer out and away, you can see how the springs are easily detached from each hinge. Note the location of where the springs attach to the hinges, and bottom of stove. Remove each spring. Three screws on each side hold the hinges on. Unscrew, and set them aside. (The new hinges did not have new screws in package.) Place new hinge in place. Reinstall in reverse of disassembly. If any part of the door or face of the stove (where hinges mount) was bent slightly due to forcing door open, reform with light hammer taps and C-clamps. Enjoy for ANOTHER 10+ years, because it's a GE Profile Stove : )
The handle on the door was the hardes part of the fix. Took 20 minutes,Pull the door up & off, remove 3 screws from the top & 3 from the bottom. take the back panel off & remove 2 nutdrive screws fom the handle & replace with new handle. SIMPLE. With door off & broiler door open unscrew hinge & reach in broiler right side and remove spring by lefting straigh up on spring. Very easy too do. Replace with new hinge 3 screws. Put spring back on & fill with hand for holes. There are 3 holes in spring plate. It'S easy,10 minutes & your done
Called in and talked to someone and he look yup what he thought was correct but after i got them theywere wrong so i sent them back for a full refund minus 9.90 freight. I still need to figure out what i need for my 27 inch wall oven. Please help. Thanks
Hinge design is weak: Hinge roller wheel splits; it's been replaced twice in last two years
1. Slide oven door off hinge arms and set aside 2. Slide out oven bottom drawer and set aside 3. Detach springs from perforations in stove rails then hinges and set aside 4. Loosen three screws in each hinge, remove and set aside. 5. Remove hinges, threading them out through openings 6. Thread new hinges into stove openings. Align hinge arms with hinge wheels. 7. Align and tighten three hinge screws in each hinge. 8. Re-attach springs to perforations in hinge, then stove rails 9. Slide oven drawer into stove and door into hinge arms
The right side hinge roller broke making the door balky
Lifted the door off the hinges, unhooked the spring from each hinge, unscrewed 3 Phillips head screws from the face plate of each hinge and removed the hinge assemblies . Hinges went in the way they came out; easy shmeasy. Took less than 15 minutes and the door is like new.
