Is the control board the same thing as the console board?

Hi Peggy, Thank you for the question. The console is the plastic outside cover with the wording. The control board goes inside the console and is the brains of the appliance. Hope this helps!

My year old washer was in storage, we are military, and when we got from storage the knob that used for this of wash was broke and the rod that holds it to washer broke. Looks like parts 12 and 1 on diagram? What repair part should i be looking for?Thank you

Hello Jenn, thank you for inquiring. You will need the Knob, part number PS11754985, and depending on which Knob you need repaired, either the Cycle Switch part number PS11754441 (first knob on left), or PS11731444 (second knob on left). Good luck with your repair!

The washing machine starts to wash, but about halfway through the process a "tick" is heard. I open the lid and close it and take some water, but it stops again.
