The main water line going up the back and connecting to the top, part 585 is not attached at the top and no longer snaps into place or is missing a screw. I can't find information anywhere that says there should be a screw in this or if it's supposed to snap into place.
For model number GDT635HSJ0SS
Hello Heidi, thank you for your question. It does not have a screw. It snaps in place. Please see a previous customers posting ""there is a hub that clicks in place and a spinner within this that makes the water spray evenly on the top of the tub of the dishwasher"". Also, we see towards the bottom part of the main conduit, there is a conduit clip #588 PS12170893 that also just clips in place. We hope this helps.

Does part number 585 come with 586 attached to it or do I need to buy both pieces? 586 broke off & laid in the bottom of my dishwasher. 586 is not well mounted in the unit. very disappointing for the price of this!
For model number DDT595SFL3DS
Hello Mark, thank you for your question. Part 585 is sold separately from 586. You only need to order the one that you actually need. Good luck with your repair.
