The light int he ice/water dispenser no longer works. What parts are needed to correct this?

The ice maker quit doing anything. When you depress the paddle, it does nothing, no clicks, no water, no ice. Also, it stopped making ice. Where do i start to troubleshoot?

Hi Tom, Thank you for your question. I would suggest first checking your water inlet valve for issues. You may also want to take a look at your dispenser solenoid, ice maker, and your dispenser micro switch as well. If those parts are fine, then you may have to start looking at your control board being the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The water dispenser is dripping a few drops a hour. The fridge is 8 years old.
