Washing machine shakes violently during spin cycle
Removed four screws that hold the top control panel to the base and hung over the back panel in order to remove the main wrap-around body of the machine. Took off top plastic ring fastened to side of tub then removed old Balance ring. Installed new balance ring. Unfortunately, this did NOT fix the problem. This was a suggestion from Justanswer.com and failed miserably. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? And it's not the springs or the little plastic shims around the base OR the cross coupling to the motor...

I have a out of balance spin cycle, think it's the balance ring, don't see anything else on the parts diagram or online it might be. Checked for stuff trapped under the blade thing. Does that sound good, also, how does the machine top come off to access the work area?
For model number LSQ9520LQ0
Hello Larry, thank you for inquiring. You will want to consider the Direct Drive Motor Coupling, part number PS1485646, and the Agitator Directional Cogs, part number PS388034 for your model as the cause. Yes, the washer's top does come off. We have a repair video for a model similar to yours that shows how to do this. Here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dgVMOSu3V8. Good luck with your repair!

My machine started getting off balance with every load. Clothing distribution isn't helping and the machine is level. The basket seems to be leaning to the right. What parts would you suggest to check?
For model number WTW5300SQ0
Hi Becky,
Thank you for your question. If the washer is leaning to one side, we recommend checking the suspension springs, part number PS11743345, and the tub spring, part number PS11751118. We hope this helps!

Replace counter balance spring, suspension springs, drive block - still shakes? Would the balance ring correct the problem?
For model number ETW4300SQ0
Hello Barry, Thank you for the question. The next suggest parts would be the Tub Wear Pads PartSelect Number PS334620, Suspension Pads PartSelect Number PS334456 and Balance Ring, PartSelect Number PS11741965. You shoudl also check to make sure the leveling feet PartSelect Number PS11747965 and PartSelect Number PS334463 are level as well. Hope this helps!
