External Ice Guide Broke a Tooth and Fell Off
We waited two years to do this because we didn't want to hassle with a repair man to come out and charge us arm+leg for something so simple. Finally we searched and found the part on line. It came two days FASTER than promised. Kudos to Part Select.
Snapping it on was a breeze, although you do have to apply more pressure than feels comfortable with plastic clips. We can know get ice out of the external door system again.

Replacing still working but old and stained levers
The overflow grille was no problem. It just slides out. To get to the levers, you need to remove the front cover trim. Pay attention to where everything is before you remove parts and how the wiring is set up (over or under parts). There are two slots below the trim, use your blade screw driver and pop the trim. You'll notice that the 4 buttons for ice (crush - cube) and the light (off-on) are on that panel. I don't recall well, but I believe two screws (one at each side) hold that part in place. Once loose, I flipped it up, disconnected the white multi- wire quick connector and used duck tape to tape the panel to the door and keep it out of the way. Another screw keeps the levers in their place, with a metal element. Remove it and the levers will come out. The ice guide just snaps out from two sides and a middle plastic hook of the ice dispenser lever. Replace everything in reverse order. That's about what I remember. Hope it helps.

Ice was being made, but wouldn't drop
My icemaker wouldn’t pop out the ice. I bought a used fridge from 2nd Time Around in Russellville AR which was the most horrible customer service experience of my life. They were supposed to have a 60 day warranty but didn’t follow through. After months of begging them, and knowing what part I needed, I just ordered it myself. It was so easy and quick and fixed my issue my husband said we should have done that months ago and avoided the hassle. It was worth the money to have the peace of mind. Now everything is perfect! All we had to do was remove the icemaker, take off the side with a screwdriver, replace the part and slide it back in. We had ice in hours! Shipping was quick (a couple days) the part was 30 dollars cheaper than other places I checked. We love it!

Ice guide broken, filter needs changing
This was a very easy repair. The ice guide has 3 pegs that just clicked into the opening to position it. The ice and water filter was easy as well. I turned the water off because I was not sure if the water would leak when I removed it.

One thing is to make sure you run the water for a while after installation to recharge the water line and to get all air out of the line, and to run the filter.

plastic ice cube guide installed
Mine is a simple tale of the missing ice cube dispensor guide. When we moved, the guide was missing so when I built our new home with a kitchen in the basement I wanted to hook up the ice dispensor but when I did, the ice cubes always fell off to one side. I decided to order the misssing part on-line. I ordered it paid for it and then received it the next day-wonderful. Within ten minutes, I was ready to go. Thanks for great service. Crisper drawer was broken. Other parts were stained due to hard water.
All the parts were easy to find on the website and they arrived within a few days.

Only needed a screw driver to remove the old water arm dispenser and to install the new one.

The drawer, the ice guide and the grille/tray all snapped in place.

Ice maker dose not get water to water tray
For model number ksrs25ftbt00
PartSelect logo
Hello Sal, thank you for your question. If the icemaker is not getting water to it, the first part to check are the water lines from the valve to the icemaker and the water valve itself, PartSelect Number: PS11749231. Here is a link that will tell you how to test that part. https://www.partselect.com/Refrigerator+test-water-valve+repair.htm. If the valve is fine, we would recommend replacing the ice maker motor module part number PartSelect Number PS2341896. I hope this helps!

How to fix ice dispenser. No problem making ice but will not give ice from dispenser.
For model number 106.55522400
PartSelect logo
Hello Louis, Thank you for the question. Is the Ice Maker is making ice and the Ice Bucket is turning to dispense but the ice is not making it through the Dispenser, we suggest checking the Ice Door Kit to see if it is stuck closed and not opening to allow the ice to dispense. We hope this helps!
