Hi there, my washing machine will fill and then stops completely. It will not agitate, spin, or pump water out. I checked the electrical circuit to the switch at the harness and got current with the orange and pink wires but not the black and white. Do you think replacing the switch with the power control lid switch ps11738802 will fix the problem?
For model number Maytag LSG7806AAE
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your inquiry. If your washer is stopping after it has filled with water there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the lid switch and actuator, the door catch and strike, the start switch and the timer, the knobs and the drive motor. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Washer won’t start unless I slam the lid. Otherwise works fine. What part do I need?
For model number LSE7806ACE
Hello Linda, Thank you for the question. This sounds like an issue with the Lid Switch assembly, PartSelect Number PS2003101 or one of the switches inside the assembly. I suggest testing the switches to see if there is damage or if the push button on them stick. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Could someone plz tell me where at on machine i can see the safety lid switch. I see its number 17 on diagram but location seems to evade me.This is a washer dryer combo. Thank you

Hi Lashaun, thank you for your question. This part should be located either at the back of underneath the lid but most of the time it is located underneath the timer in the control panel area. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I turned on washer and it started filling water. I raised lid to add detergent and it stopped filling as it is supposed. When I closed lid it did not continue to fill. Nothing on the washer works including spin etc. Dryer has power and is fine. Thanks
For model number Maytag LSE7806ACE
Hello Roger, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, we would recommend checking the lid switch assembly, part number PS11738802, to fix the issue. It prevents the washer from spinning or agitating when the lid is open. We hope this solves your problem!
