Thanks for your question. The most common reason for this type of issue is due to a faulty tub bearing, part number PS11726907. You may wish to examine it and see if it is damaged, and replace it if so.

Loud squeak near the belt, and i have changed the belt, is it the gear case support assembly? Would like to know please advise.

Hello Steve, thank you for your question. If the squeak is near the dryer belt, I would recommend checking the idler pulley, drum glide bearing, and felt seal. This gear case support assembly is for the washer. I hope this helps.

Could you tell me the part number for the “hub nut” which is not included? Can the existing one on my unit be re-used when replacing the gear case?
