This is a genuine OEM replacement part, it is sold individually. The purpose of this filter is to keep dirt and other small particles from entering the carburetor and engine and causing internal engine damage. Once this type of filter gets clogged or dirty it should be changed (Not Cleaned). This is to prevent restricted air flow and foreign matter from entering the engine.

This is an authentic Ryobi part manufactured for use with gas powered chainsaws. This special screw has a square head to fit into the slot on the outside of the cylinder, and secures the muffler. It is recommended to replace the gasket when reinstalling the muffler to ensure a good seal. Three screws are required to secure the muffler, the screws are sold individually, please note the nuts are available separately.
