(pull little up to unhinged then remove). 6. unscrew the 5 nut screws to remove the lower siding. 7. unscrew the copper 4 nut screws then remove the lint suction fixture 8. unscrew the 4 nut screws to remove door fixture ,then just lay next to the machine.(the wires are long enough so you don't need to unplug and separate it from the machine.9. remove the belt by pulling the idler pulley towards the motor pulley (against the tension spring) 10. remove the drum by lifting a little bit upward. 11. remove the plastic triangular lock using a small screw driver then remove the idler pulley wheel then install the replacement. (clean your machine using a vacuum cleaner and remove all the lints). 12. install back the drum, be sure to set the drum belt to the right position. (groove on drum side). 13. install back the belt to the pulley the same procedure as to remove it. 14. assemble back what you have removed. end.

My son got it in the mail for me and snapped it right back on.

I raised the top of the dryer, removed the front, the belt and the drum. Slipped off old rollers, installed new ones and new tensioner. Reinstalled drum and belt, bolted front back on and closed the top.

I took the dryer apart ( using a repair book ) It was Super Simple to do I only needed a extra set of hand's to hold the drum in place while reassembling it. removed the hold down snap on collar's on the Motor ( after removing the Blower from the back of the dryer ( super simple. PULLED THE DRYER APART TO GET TO THE MOTOR , REMOVED MOTOR , LOOKED FOR MODEL NUMBER OF DRYER AND DID RESEARCH ON WHERE TO BUY THE MOTOR AND BOUGHT FROM PARTS SELECT BECAUSE BOUGHT FROM THEM BEFORE

it took loess than 10 minutes to change the door switch after watching the repair video

I typed in on my brouser Repair Kitchen Aid Dryer door switch.
And on You Tube up came several videos showing me how to ewmove the switch and install the new one.

The hardest part of the job was not instaling the switch but the dryer Vent hose from the back of the dryer after I puled it away fro ... I has to disconnect the Hot/cold water line pull the washer out connect the dyer hose reconnect the cold /hot water lines and yada yada yada

Found a U tube video to be useful. Remover 2 screws under the filter lid. Used a putty knife blabe wrapped in masking tape to unclip the lid. 2 screws to remove the switch. By watching the video it made the job much easier than I thought it would be. I was very pleased with the speedy delivery of the Dryer kit I had ordered. I had called a local repair facility and they wanted twice as much for the same parts.

Just popped it into place needing no tools at all. Took less than a minute.

checked all the thermostats and the heating element all good had continuity checked the red wire from the timer to the element and it was not sending 120v to the element consistently ordered the timer and replaced in 15 minutes had my dryer heating and drying clothes

First cleaned the back of dryer. Loosened six (6) screws on the back side of the dryer. Took a picture of the connections then proceeded to pull all the connections
Got the new timer and made all the connections. Put back & tightened all the screws . It took approximately twenty minutes to finish replacing the timer.

Cleaned entire unit, replaced all thermostat assemblies and exhaust seal
