Removed the small metal panel covering the main power terminal in back of the electric range. Removed the nuts holding the red, white and black electrical wires from the range using the appropriate socket (there will be two nuts on each bolt end). Reconnect the red, black and white electrical wires coming from the range using one nut for each wire. IMPORTANT: do no over tighten the nuts because the bolts could snap. Reconnect the pigtail and secure the small metal panel covering the main power panel.

I purchased an 8" canning element for my new Kenmore Stove. The ordering process was easy. I printed my order out. I did not receive a confirmation by email, however I received the part in a timely manner. I was satisfied with the process.

Easy as 1-2-3. Opened the box, took out the new electric coil elements, plugged it in to our stove and it worked perfectly.

When I called to inquire if a new cartrige would fit in my 1985 model range the gentleman walked me through unplugging the old cartrige to see how it connected. I did this while on the phone with him and I then explained the connection; he told me that a new cartrige would just plug into the same place....and it did!

Simply bought a new cartridge, pulled the old one out and put in the new one. The best thing was that I used another cartridge bottom to replace the bad connectors on the still shiny top and then had two good looking cartridge tops.

1 phone call to PartSelect and I found out they warranty their parts for 1 year. They shipped a new one immediately.

The repair consisted of opening the package and placing the new cartridge into position. Looks good and works like new. Delivery was within two days. Thanks.

It took about five minutes to unpack the new burner module and two minutes to install it. I then took five minutes to tell my wife what a genius I was. She told me she always knew I was "handy".

This is very easy The JennAire burner modules slide out very quickly. I was able to do both modules for $360 versus buying a new JennAir stove top for over $1200.

The hardest part was making the commitment to sit down at the computer and order the parts! Part Select had the best prices and the best detail/photographs of the coil element cartridges. Order confirmation was provided as well as delivery tracking information. The parts were well packaged in a large outer box. The burner cartridges were in two smaller boxes within, securely wrapped in plastic and protected with styrofoam on the ends. I pulled my existing cartridges out of the cooktop outlets, cleaned the cavities below the burners and plugged in the new cartridges. Then, I turned each burner on to make sure they worked. I have been in awe at how easy that was ever since---it looks like a brand new cooktop!!! Everything was brand new and each cartridge came with a Jenn Air use and care manual. I am thrilled!
