FFHS2622MSWA Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

I took the side cover off. With a Phillips unscrewed the screw, took the outer part off, with nut driver undid the two screws. Took the part out in screwed the 4 Phillips head screws. Took out the broken part, replaced with new part. Reassembled. Put filter in and it now works perfectly.

I ordered 3 items based on my model and serial number from the website.

The new bin arrived, I slid it in place and away we went.

Watched YouTube video. Very easy. Used my cell phone camera in ‘selfie’ mode propped up in the upper right hand corner of freezer to see the 2 hidden screws.

The fault code HI or H1 would periodically appear. Evap coil and fan would freeze over. I replaced evap fan motor, run capacitor, defrost thermostat, and temp sensor with no luck. Followed instructions from others on the blog. Shut off water and electricity to the refrigerator. Removed the cardboard plate. Removed the old water valve. Cut the compression valves off and inserted the tubes into the new water valve. Attached the water valve bracket to the fridge. Tightened copper water supply.Turned on the water ... removed ice maker box and disassembled crusher unit on front of box and installed new housing.

I replaced the water valve, but it still did not fix the problem.The old water valve I took out I'm assuming worked fine, I think the real problem is ice building up in pipe or some other blockage.

got replacement ice container with ice crusher and dispenser in the door. removed broken one and slid in the new one like a drawer and started crushing ice right away!!
