Removed the inter door panel replaced broken handle put panel back washed dishes

received new basket without a basket handle; had to remove handle from old basket & attach it to new basket; took 2 separate tries to remove old handle & each try took about an hour; used screwdriver & pliers but had to be careful not to break handle; eventually used dimes to pry open & hold the attached sections of the handle open in ord ... Read more er to free the handle from the old basket; we sure hope the new basket lasts a lot longer than the 2 years that the old basket lasted before it broke.

I know that I have very hard water, but am reluctant to get a softener. I hope that changing the "guts" of the water delivery to my dishwasher will help...already replaced the filters which helped too... so far, it's a little better.

I removed flowplate assembly, chopper assembly, found that the plastic spindle was stripped causing arm not to spin. In the new seal kit, the spindle was made of metal (much better design). First, I had to purchase a small socket set that had the piece needed to remove the screws from the inside panel of the dishwasher. I didn't cost much. After removing the screws, I disconnected the old door latch/handle, but had to leave the old leads in place because I couldn't remove them. I replaced the old latch/handle with the new on ... Read more e, replaced the inside panel, and tried it out. The new latch/handle worked great. The replacement time was under 20 minutes (struggling with the old leads). Very happy with the outcome, though.

Luckily the door opened one last time. Remove torx screws on the inside. Spread panel open to gain access to handle. Removed handle because it's already loose from removing torx screws for panel. Electrical wire connectors were extremely tight. Used pliers to remove connections there are 2.
Reverse procedure for installation.

Removed inside door panel, handle assembly was then free to move. Unpluged both switches attached to handle assembly. Plugged in new switches and positioned new handle assembly. Replaced inside door panel and screwed into place. Closed door. it works. job done.

I watched a couple of videos on Youtube, and for once it was actually easier than anticipated. Unplug unit. Remove door screws. Separate inner door from outer door. Remove connector from dispenser (needed flat blade screwdriver to pry it at first.) Remove six screws holder dispenser in. Removed old dispenser, inserted new one, tightened s ... Read more ix screws, re-connected wires, attached inner door to outer door, and was done in literally less than 10 minutes. Note: I was using a battery powered screw driver to remove the screws, so that's one reason why it went so fast.

No repair needed, just inserted the new dishrack. My only complaint is the lack of upright tongs in half of the rear section of the rack. This limits the number of dishes that can be stored. My original rack had tongs in all areas which better suited my needs. If there is a replacement that better suits my needs I would like an exchange.

1. Remove both upper and lower dish trays
2. Remove the “Spinner /Sprayer” (small nut on the top)
3. Unclip the “Tower” from the top and rear clip
4. Remove the “Tower” from the unit
5. Remove the “Filter Guard” on the bottom by removing 3 torx screws

7. Remove and replace the “Accumulator Filter” (8 – 20 torx screws)
8. Assemble in reverse order

Shut off the electricity to the dishwasher. I removed all 11 screws from the door panel. After separating the 2 door panels, I removed the 2 door switches from the door handle ( I used a flat head screw driver to help get them out). Read more dle ( this was not an exact fit because the new switches is slightly larger than the old ones). I put the new switches in place as tight as I could in the handle. I screwed the 2 screws holding the handle first to secure it before I put all the other screws in the door panel. I turned the electricity to the dishwasher back on. Our dishwasher has been working perfect ever since then and it is over 10 years old.

Went to the hardware store and bought a T-20 torx tip and then unscrewed the plastic on the inside of the door, unplugged the dishwasher and replaced the latch assembly. This is an electrical part and it is essential to disconnect the power. I would never buy this dishwasher again. The latch is not something that should break.

Was really easy to replace just unscrew the dishwasher and remove from under the counter about 3 inches. No need to disconnect the water line or electric. Unscrew one Torx (star) screw and put the new one in. Simple, just have the screw driver before you start.

I removed the inside door panel, unplugged the old assembly and replaced with the new. The only caveat is that I THOUGHT the unit came WITH a new plastic handle, and it did not. It was very difficult to remove the handle from the old unit, and to install it in the new unit. The description was not adequate. I had read other blogs and th ... Read more ey warned of the same missing handle, and I thought I had ordered correctly. The repair is fine, but the old handle is cracked, so I dont know how long it will last.

I removed the main plastic bolt with a pliers and then just used a screwgun with a star tip for all the screws.
I am a 43 year old woman with no experience and I was able to figure it out. The machine cleans much better now.
