71603 (ASTCSE3) LG Refrigerator - Instructions

Watched the video. Took the screws out, unplugged the connection and slid mullion off. Then plugged the new one in, slid it on and attached the two screws.

Pulled old gasket off by hand. New gasket was easy to install by pushing it into molded cutout in refrigerator door.
Very satisfying to have no glitches in the seamless installation.

Unable to complete repair, had to send parts back
Part should have been PS11732074, but got PS11732704- wrong part
This was a substitute part and was 2" too long

Waiting for refund on this part. It cost me $14.50 to return it by UPS!!!

I disconnected the refrigerator power, removed the 2 screws holding the mullion door on the left side of the refrigerator French-door (it’s the flap that allows the door to close). 1. Remove all food from the shelf and take out the crisper drawers.
2. Remove the glass and take out the crisper frame.
3. Take the screws out of the frame that are holding the cover frame in place and remove the old cover frame..
4. Install the new cover and replace screws.
5. Re- install the drawers and glass.

Unscrewed what remained from broken door stop, aligned new one, screwed it in. Done!

Removed upper drawer/basket from freezer

Removed 2 Philips screws

Removed rail bracket assembly

Reinstalled reversing those steps

Works like new.
Happy wife. Happy life. FYI- I am nearly 77 yrs young.

Made installation of the new part a piece of cake. Easy peasy!! Took less than 10 minutes.

Read the reviews from other members and just did as they said. Needed a screw driver and the info from past persons review couldn’t have been easier.

Took 2 screws out and disconnect wire and install new part.

I am a73 year old woman. If I can do this, anyone can. Super easy. Just watch the online video.

Unplugged the frig and removed two phillip screws on flapper door of left door... Unplugged the electrical connector and removed flapper...
Picked up new flapper and snapped electrical contractor together... Slid new flapper bar into place and inserted two phillip screws... Job complete in 15 minutes...

remove all trays from refrigerator , remove screw holding rail and install new rail.

Installed new one.

i changed the filter and was able to get water to the white coil at the bottom of the dispenser (left door) but could never get water to the icemalker.i also replaced the pump at the bottom of the door as well as the green ebr699172 dispenser electrical board.still can not get water to the icemaker.any help will be greatly appreciated.< ...
