Dryer belt broken
Great service. I got the part in 3 days and having the youtube video was fantastic. I also was able to find other videos also so doing these tasks yourself nowadays is much easier. I was a bit nervous but it turned out to be easy.

Dryer Belt Squealing
I followed the provided video precisely. Made the job quite easy. My only problem is I'm 6'2", 275 lbs. with bad knees. Can't go at it exactly as shown in the video because I can't squat down in front of the dryer without pain. Called in a neighbor of smaller stature for him to come from one side, and me from the other. Worked flawlessly. Video is excellent. I do recommend wearing gloves and/or long sleeve shirt. I cut up my arms a bit, but that could have been easily avoided.

Videos were perfect and job was easy
The repair was performed in the laundry room which was large enough the handle all the parts when disassembled. I followed the video and it was perfect without any errors. The job was simple and even putting on the new belt without having the ability to see what I was doing. You'll understand when you view the video and perform the job. Just follow the instructions including using the newly supplied screw to tap the new holes.

Dryer would get hot and shut off.
Turned off gas and unplugged power. Removed gas line and vent tube. Removed the light bulb. Took the door off. Removed two screws from the top, inside part of the door jamb and removed the top, but not the control panel. Removed the front panel. I took a picture of the wiring that leads to the light to ensure proper reconnection. Unhooked the belt from the tension bar and removed the belt, then pulled the drum out. The cycling thermostat is held in place by 2 "wings" and pressure. Removed connections from old and installed on the new. Snapped the new cycling thermostat in place. Then reversed the order to reinstall everything. Drum, belt around drum then tensioner, connected light wiring, installed the front panel, ensuring proper alignment on the felt in the lower bearing. Installed the top and screwed it back on the front panel. Reinstalled door. Reinstalled the light bulb. Using NEW gas line plumbers tape, installed the gas hose. Installed the vent tube. Have done at least 10 loads of laundry with no problems.

Dryer making tremendous grinding noise
I followed the the video from part select. The job is very easy but it is hard to work alone. I took the top off easily and remove the front cover. I removed the drum and the rear bearing, this was also very easy. Installing the new bearing was a bit difficult because of the depth of the drum. However I install a small bolt and nut to hold the bearing in place . I then put 2 screws in. I the remove the bolt and nut and install the third screw. I also install a new belt. Putting it back together was a breeze. Thank you part select I saved a lot of money. The dryer is 21 years old.

Drum wouldn't turn, snapped drive belt
Removing the top and then the front of the dryer went fairly easily after finding the screws. The drum came out with just a little coaxing, does not gets screwed in place. To me the trickiest maneuver was getting my hand under the drum to place the belt over motor pulley and around the tensioner pulley. You must look up an image of the belt routing. It took me forever to figure that out. If not for that, this in a half hr fix. Ps don't forget to unplug the dryer.

Dryer makes noise when "Start" is pushed, but stops when you let go.
Dryer would turn on when you pushed the "on" button, but as soon as you let go, it would turn off. Found the plastic door switch cracked (from slamming door closed). Unplugged the dryer. Unscrewed the two screws inside the top of the door to unfasten the top panel. Took the top panel off. Then unscrewed the two screws on the side to unlatch the front panel. Used plyers to take the 3 wires off the switch and slid the switch through the front of the door. Juat remember where the wires go. Then inserted new switch and connected the wires. Vacuumed out the dryer and reassembled. It took about 20 minutes and was easy! If I can do it, you can!!!
