2325ERS Jenn-Air Cooktop - Instructions

This was a no-brainer: old filter out, new filter in. In addition to replacing an old, greasy filter, I found that the exhaust fan now draws cooking fumes much more efficiently. So why did I wait the 6 years since we moved into this house to do this???

small and no Maytag dealers. So, I ordered on line two drip bowls and saved one"just in case"

Removed old filter, dropped in the new one.
(This really was not a "repair")

old filter fell into from removing and cleaning,
removed cover pulled out filter ,replaced it with new one.

I just pulled the electric element out of the slot and dropped the drip pan in place and slipped the electric element back in place and it was ready to go. It looks almost new. I just lifted out old filter, and put in new one.

Unplugged the burner units and replaced the drip pans. Five seconds time per burner.

Followed the directions. Piece of cake!!

I originally ordered the knobs that appeared to be an exact match for the ones on the stove top (Part # PS1515077). However those knobs are designed to fit on D post stems. I finally ordered PS48861 which are designed to fit double flat post stems which is what I have on my stove top. New parts fit perfectly. Remove old knobs put new ones ... Read more on. Total repair time less than one minute. Part Select was great about getting the original parts and replacement to me quickly.

Replacing the switch was very easy. First I unplugged the range to be sure there would be no electrical power to the switch. Then I removed four screws to remove the switch cover plate (located above the oven door). I disconnected the wires from the pin connectors on the broken switch, then removed the switch by removing one hex nut. ... Read more The new switch was installed by reversing the removal procedure. Installed the part------very easy

shut circuit breaker, remove two screws, lift knob panel, move wires to new switch, remove and replace switch, clean surface
