It took about five minutes to unpack the new burner module and two minutes to install it. I then took five minutes to tell my wife what a genius I was. She told me she always knew I was "handy".

This is very easy The JennAire burner modules slide out very quickly. I was able to do both modules for $360 versus buying a new JennAir stove top for over $1200.

The hardest part was making the commitment to sit down at the computer and order the parts! Part Select had the best prices and the best detail/photographs of the coil element cartridges. I felt confident that the parts would fit in my older model cooktop from the information provided. I ordered on Saturday, the parts were delivered by

noon the next Wednesday. Order confirmation was provided as well as delivery tracking information. The parts were well packaged in a large outer box. The burner cartridges were in two smaller boxes within, securely wrapped in plastic and protected with styrofoam on the ends. I pulled my existing cartridges out of the cooktop outlets, cleaned the cavities below the burners and plugged in the new cartridges. Then, I turned each burner on to make sure they worked. I have been in awe at how easy that was ever since---it looks like a brand new cooktop!!! Everything was brand new and each cartridge came with a Jenn Air use and care manual. I am thrilled!
