Worked as expected
Fixed the problem, installation wasn’t difficult, you need to completely disconnect the dryer, take the back off remove the old part and put everything back.

Fixed my drier!
I was simply throwing a part at my drier hoping it would fix it. It did. More importantly the part was correct and so far no issues. It was my first time ordering from PartSelect. I always have an uneasy feeling when ordering online from someone I am not familiar with, but they did not disappoint. I ordered late on a Monday night and it was at my door by Wednesday. I could not have hoped for anything better. Thank you.

no heat on the dryer
Did a quick on line search of the problem and found the Limiter Switch is normally the solution.....loaded the model number in the PartSelect data base and received the correct part the next day (standard shipping)! Replaced the part in about 45 mins and works perfectly. While I was ordering the Limiter switch I figured it was a good time to replace the drum light bulb as well. Again, perfect match. Great experience with PartSelect, will be sure to use them again!

The picture on the website does not show if this a resettable thermostat. The Bosch unit on the wiring side is a 175NC 262R with a manual reset button on the back to reset the device if it trips due to over heating. Does the one on this site have that? Could you include it on the side both front and back pictures to show the specs.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your question. This thermostat does come with the reset button. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dryer has stopped heating. Everything functions fine but just won't heat up. Is there one cause, or can there be several reasons for the dryer not working. Bob landis
For model number WTMC3300US
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your question. If your dryer has stopped heating, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the heating element assembly and both high limit thermostats. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Have a problem with extreme overheating. Vent has been completely professionally cleaned, blower is working fine. It use to trip on overheating and I'd have to go into the back of the dryer and reset. Could the current thermostat have been fused closed and no longer working???
For model number WTVC6330US
Hello Jim, thank you for getting in touch. Based on the description that you have provided, the issue is most probably with the high limit protector, part number PS8713233. It shuts off the heating element or burner when the dryer overheats. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
