The fridge side is warm, the freezer is cold. Looking to the back of the freezer, i can see frost buildup showing on the vent. Do you think i need the defrost heater or the defrost thermostat kit? Thanks!
For model number PLHS269ZDB7
Hello Heather, thank you for your question. If there is frost buildup on the evaporator coils, I would
suggest replacing the Defrost Thermostat Kit Part Number: 5303918214 and the DEFROST HEATER KIT Part Number 5303918255. I hope this helps!

The freezer is staying about 20 - 25 degrees (F) and the evaporator keeps freezing up. I have replaced the Defrost Thermostat, but nothing changed. I have made sure the condenser coils are clean and the evaporator fan is running.
For model number GLRS267ZCW0
Hello Robert, thank you for contacting us. After thorough research, we have come to the conclusion that it might be the compressor run capacitor (part number: PS2333670) that is keeping the freezer warm. We hope this helps. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair!
defrost heater for Frigidaire model GLRS237ZCB2, what is the ohmic resistance of this heater
For model number 5303918253
Hi Joseph, thank you for the question. The defrost heater, part number PS469556, fits your model. In most cases, a defrost heater will read 30–40 ohms of resistance on the heater. You can test this with a multimeter. We hope this helps!
