dryer squeeked and rattled
after removing the panel covering the dryer blower and removing the blower cover, i pulled the old blower wheel off and placed the new whell on carefully lining the flat edge of the wheel hole up with the flat edge on the blower piston, the n i placed the clamp on and put back all the housing covers and panels...and now my dryer runs quiet and drys cloths fast....thanks to partselect!!!!
dryer was making terrible clunking noise when running
This is a stacker washer/dryer combination. Took off the back panel of the dryer, but found out the front needed to come off instead,to replace the blower wheel. This took more time than replacing the wheel. Was pretty easy to get to the wheel and replace. The center part had broken so replaced wheel and clamp. The push in fastner was broke, which held in the lint screen part. Was easy to install this. Dryer sounds as good as it did when it was new. It was very easy to find the correct part and shipping was overnight! Great service.

Hi folks, is this the only part that would need to be replaced on a dryer that does not heat?Everything else, including the Flame, seems to be working fine.
For model number FLXG52RBS7
Hi Michael, Thank you for the question. If the thermostats and fuses on the element housing and blower wheel housing have been tested as well as the element and they have tested to be good you may also want to check the timer. The Timer tells the element when to heat up. If the blower wheel was defective then the appliance would still get hot but the air would not flow through the dryer so it will not dry properly and the appliance may over heat. Hope this helps!

Dryer blowing air in lint catcher and humming sound even when the dryer is not running. Is there a fan in the dryer that continuously runs if defective? What parts need replacing? Thanks.
For model number MEX731CFS4
Hi Fred, thank you for the question. According to our research on your model, the issue is probably related to the Blower Wheel, part number PS417911. The blower wheel attaches to the drive motor shaft and blows air through the drum and out through the exhaust vent. We hope this information helps!
