Will the disintegration of this part allow oil into the washing tub?

Hello Louis, thank you for your question. According to our research, a damaged or broken tub seal, part number PS3407958, might cause the oil to enter the tub from the transmission mechanism under the tub. If you are having oil stains on your clothes after washing, the first part to check would preferably be the tub seal. We hope this information helps!
