My freezer is making a loud noise and a friend sound it could be the fan motor but not it’s not freezing the food?
For model number FUF 20DPARWH
Hello Cody, thank you for your question. If the unit is only making the noise when the unit is pushing air into the fridge section the fan motor is the most likely issue. If the appliance is not freezing the food, I would recommend checking the temperature control part number WR09X26467. This unit is fairly basic. The temp control controls the "on/off" action of the compressor, the compressor turns on cools and the fan motor blows the cool air through the freezer cabinet. The two parts I would recommend replacing would be the control part number WR09X26467 and the fan motor part number WR60X10066. I hope this helps!
